Our Future…
…is to be an Educational Community Center that will offer a variety of classes that allow anyone who walks through our doors to take charge of their health. We will not only provide options for children and adults alike, but also provide classes simultaneously for adults and children. Thus, allowing the parent to stay on location while engaging in their own activity.
Garden Cultivation
This will offer a variety of classes that teach the inner workings of how to cultivate your own home garden. Whether you want to just grow tomato plants, or go all in, you will have the ability to learn how to start a plant from seed, transplanting, proper growing conditions, using other plants to fight off pests, as well as the benefits of growing native plants in our yards.
Cooking Classes
These classes will build off of our garden cultivation by teaching people how to utilize the food grown in their own gardens. Along with this, participants will have the opportunity to learn basic knife handling skills, prep work, baking, and how to make healthy food taste good. Classes offered to children will focus on more beginner kitchen skills and making items they are familiar with.
Yoga Classes
A wide variety of yoga classes will be offered throughout the week to people of all ages. Aside from flexibility and mind-body awareness, some classes will boast more of an aerobic workout while others will offer more muscle building, allowing people to discover the benefits of each unique yoga practice.
Health Coaching
We all aspire to be our best selves.
Many of us have difficulty getting there.
Health coaching will be a six month program that will allow for a support system through a variety of life’s challenges while you begin your new lifestyle change. Meetings will take place for one hour, bi-weekly, along with email contact.
